Many-body non-Hermitian skin effect under dynamic gauge coupling

چکیده
We study an atom-cavity hybrid system where fermionic atoms in a one-dimensional lattice are subject to cavity-induced dynamic gauge potential. The coupling leads highly degenerate steady states which the fermions accumulate one edge of under open boundary condition. Such phenomenon originates from many-body Liouvillian superoperator system, which, being intrinsically non-Hermitian, is unstable against perturbations and manifests non-Hermitian skin effect. Contrary single-body case, state multiatom approached much slower condition, as long-time damping cavity mode exhibits distinct rates at different times. This stagewise slowdown attributed competition between light-assisted hopping coupling, significantly reduces steady-state degeneracy hosts quasisteady dominate dynamics timescales.

Integrable Many - Body Systems and Gauge Theories
The review studies connections between integrable many-body systems and gauge theories. It is shown how the degrees of freedom in integrable systems are related with topological degrees of freedom in gauge theories. The relations between families of integrable systems and N = 2 supersymmetric gauge theories are described. It is explained that the degrees of freedom in the many-body systems can ...
متن کاملExactly Solvable Many-Body Systems and Pseudo-Hermitian Point Interactions
The complex generalization of conventional quantum mechanics has been investigated extensively in recent years. In particular it is shown that the standard formulation of quantum mechanics in terms of Hermitian Hamiltonians is overly restrictive and a consistent physical theory of quantum mechanics can be built on a complex Hamiltonian that is not Hermitian but satisfies the less restrictive an...
متن کاملQuantum Many Body System at Integer Coupling
The 1/r2 quantum many body problem, and the closely related Haldane-Shastry 1/r2 Heisenberg chain, are the subject of intense theoretical study at present, due in part to their relationship to an ideal gas obeying fractional statistics (see [1] for a review). One direction of study has been the exact calculation of some ground state correlation functions [1-5]. Let us briefly summarize the main...
متن کاملMany-Body Coulomb Gauge Exotic and Charmed Hybrids
Utilizing a QCD Coulomb gauge Hamiltonian with linear confinement specified by lattice, we report a relativistic many-body calculation for the light exotic and charmed hybrid mesons. The Hamiltonian successfully describes both quark and gluon sectors, with vacuum and quasiparticle properties generated by a BCS transformation and more elaborate TDA and RPA diagonalizations for the meson (qq) and...
متن کاملDynamic correlations in Brownian many-body systems.
For classical Brownian systems driven out of equilibrium, we derive inhomogeneous two-time correlation functions from functional differentiation of the one-body density and current with respect to external fields. In order to allow for appropriate freedom upon building the derivatives, we formally supplement the Smoluchowski dynamics by a source term, which vanishes at the physical solution. Th...
